Gifts of the Season
I want to share with you all a recent post by a friend living and working in Haiti. I think she has a very insightful perspective and its important to share it with everyone to give pause to our style of reaching out. Read this post for a little food for thought
Patrick and I hail from midwest America and enjoying exploring our world. Previously employed through Global Ministries and partnered with CONASPEH in Port-au-Prince Haiti, we now find ourselves back in Colorado unexpectedly as we endure the lengthy process of immigration and citizenship for our children. This is the blog of the adventures that color our existence, the joys of building our family through adoption, and the observations and introspection spurred by the incredible places and people that make up our days.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; Indeed it is the only thing that ever does." --Margaret Mead
